Some services require payment. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. By purchasing any service, you agree to pay the applicable charges associated with that service.

5. Limitation of Liability

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom or your local jurisdiction. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of the relevant jurisdiction.

Listing Agreement

(Applies when listing a business on WorldBusinessesForSale.com.)

This Listing Agreement (“Agreement”) applies in addition to the general Terms above.

1. Agreement Term

The Agreement term depends on your selected plan—six (6), nine (9), or twelve (12) months. Contracts renew automatically unless cancelled in accordance with these Terms.

2. Plans, Fees, and Commission Rates

2.1 Commission-Based Plans

A commission is payable upon the confirmed sale of your business. Rates vary by plan:

  • Basic: 3%

  • Standard: 2%

  • Premium: 1%

  • Swift Sales: 5%–10% (rate confirmed before listing)

2.2 Broker Listings (12-Month Membership)

  • Basic Broker Plan: No Commission
  • Standard Broker Plan: No Commission
  • Premium Broker Plan: No Commission

All broker plans operate on a fixed annual membership basis.

2.3 Pay-As-You-Go Plans (No Commission)

Our Pay-As-You-Go plans charge no commission. These are offered as:

  • One-time purchase options

  • Monthly subscriptions

Support is limited to the features included within the chosen plan.

3. Non-Exclusive Listing Arrangement

This is a non-exclusive listing arrangement. You may sell your business independently or through another broker.

Commission is only payable if we directly introduce the buyer through our platform or marketing activities, and a successful sale is completed during the listing term or within 90 days after termination.

3.1 When Commission is Due

Commission is due within 14 days of the completed sale.

3.2 Minimum Commission for Swift Sales

The Swift Sales Plan has a minimum commission rate starting at 5%.

3.3 Commission Summary

  • Brokers: No Commission
  • Individual sellers: 1% – 3%, depending on plan

4. Seller Responsibilities

4.1 Accurate Information

You must provide complete and accurate details about your business.

4.2 Notification of Sale

You must notify us immediately when your business is sold, regardless of how the sale occurs.

5. Commission Obligations After Termination

If your business sells within 90 days after your listing ends to a buyer introduced through our platform or resulting from our marketing efforts, the commission remains payable.

6. Termination

6.1 Early Termination

Either party may terminate the Agreement with 30 days’ written notice.

6.2 Impact of Termination

Termination does not remove commission obligations if a sale occurs within the active period or the post-termination window defined above.

7. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the United Kingdom or your local jurisdiction. By using our services, you accept this jurisdiction.

8. Entire Agreement

These Terms and this Agreement together form the complete agreement between you and WorldBusinessesForSale.com and replace all prior communications.

9. Amendments

Changes to this Agreement must be made in writing and acknowledged by both parties.

Acknowledgment

By listing your business on WorldBusinessesForSale.com, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and this Agreement.
